Pains , aches and cramps in abdomen while pregnant is common and sometimes normal. If otherwise well , no worry!.The tough ligaments stretch to support the growing uterus and cause pain.Sometimes back strain also result in aches.
When should I feel alarmed about my abdominal pain or meet my Gynecologist?
If your pain doesn’t go away after several minutes of rest or if you feel cramping along with
- pain or burning sensation while passing urine
- unusual vaginal discharge
- spotting or bleeding pv
- fever / chills
- loose stools
How can I ease my pregnancy abdominal pain?
- Try sitting down for a while
- Lie down to the side opposite where the pain is and put your feet up
- Have a warm bath
- Use hot water bottle or wheat bag on the painful areas
- Try to relax
